i still havent gotten a new lightbulb. xD

thoughts.

as i was looking at my window thinking about what to write, i saw a view of the mountains. they're so big. so majestic. so....beautiful. there are so many things about the mountains that are wonderful. one is the animals. there big ones. deer. mountain lions. bears. and there are small ones. squirrels that chatter. skunks. mice. birds.  and then there are ones you dont notice. ants. beetles. bees. and they're all doing something. i guess you could call it their job. their special job. whether it's raising their young, finding food, or building a nest. they all have something to do . something god created them to do. but that's not all that's in the forest. there are trees...oh so many trees. and streams....ice cold crystal clear streams that call to you to come and drink it. there are rocks. some big some small. some are great to climb on. others...not so much. there's also dirt...pine needles...and so many other things....  and then...there's the air. the fresh air that doesnt contain smog. air how god created it to be. not polluted by smog. just. pure. air. there are also seasonal things in the mountains. like in fall. leaves turn yellow, orange, and red. and it starts to get cold. in the winter all the trees have lost their leaves and there's snow. in the spring animals come out of their winter slumber and the snow melts and flowers and trees start to bloom. and then in the summer it becomes warm... and everything is beautiful. and then it starts all over again.

there's more to this world than just mountains though. there are beaches and deserts and rainforests. everything is so diverse. there are so many things. people who say there isnt a creator or that god isnt creative must be blind because they are missing the obvious. i dont want to miss the obvious. do you?

watched second pirates of the caribbean last night. the first one is better!!! i still liked it though. there were only two bonus features...so sad...but i watched them...there were bloopers and the commentary...
i love pirates of the caribbean! who else thinks it woulcd be amazing to act in a movie?

my lightbulb burned out so everytime i go in my room and try to turn on the light, it doesnt turn on.

i was smelling a lotion and it squirted out and got in my nose.

"weird, usually the dishwasher is full when i empty it.."
i got to the silverware.
guess what i noticed?
yep....
they were dirty.
so i called my mom.
"mom, did you say put the dishes AWAY, or put the ones in the sink in the dishwasher?"
"put them away."
"oh, ok. bye"
so all the dishes i had put away i had to get out and put back in the dishwasher.
hopefully i put the right ones back in the dishwasher...
such a shame....
i hope i dont get a dirty one (if there is one)

i dare you

...to not use your thumb for a full day.
yesterday i was cutting something for operation christmas child and the scissors suddenly cut throught the thing i was trying to cut and i cut my thumb. it was deep and i had to get 5 stitches. i might have damaged my nerve and might lose feeling in part of my thumb. its really awkward not being able to use my left thumb. ive had to do a lot of stuff with one hand.

looking back

okay. so im gonna write about one of my favorite memories since ive moved to california. ummm...let me think...i don't have a fav, so i'll just name one.

when my dad was candidating (if you dont know what that means go look it up in the dictionary), we all flew to california. we stayed at the radisson. (very nice hotel!) i remember that the senior pastor's daughter and her mom and sister came to visit us there and we went swimming. we became friends. also, we went to this overseers house, and there was a girl a year older than me, and she taught me some hand-clapping games. we became friends. i remember wanting to move to california after i had made those two friends. those people i have gotten to know. one was kirstin and the other was maddie. haha...its so weird to think that i was just a 3rd grader and im now in 7th grade. i feel so old...and now looking back, i feel so young.

it was a homeschool day where the whole park was closed to everyone except homeschoolers! yay!

~ riddler's revenge (it was amazing!! my new favorite ride!!)

~ tatsu (went on it twice!)
~ terminator salvation (it was really fun even though you didn't do any loops!)

~ superman!! ( i finally got up the nerve to do it! it was so much fun and not half as scary as i expected!!)

so sad...
goliath and scream were closed, and i never got to do X2.... the only good rides at the park that i haven't been on are scream, X2, and colossus.    i guess i'll save those for next time!!!

...was so much fun!! i went to the great pumpkin bash at church and then went trick or treating after with kirstin, elizabeth, sarah, emily p., emily t., nathan, mason, and adam. oh and my mom. =] it was fun!! i got 7 pounds of candy!!! i had to hide it from my mom. it was a really good hiding place if i do say so myself!! =) i'll post pics of my costume later. i have to lode them onto the computer first!! oh! i also have a picture of how much candy i have!! i'll post that too!! did you have fun on halloween?

i had wanted to be a pirate for halloween, so like last week, emily p, my mom, grandma, brother and i (we had just come back from a field trip and i took emily to a pumpkin patch after) went to party city because emily and i needed costumes. emily got this amazing bee outfit. she said i could wear it next year =]!  i found a pirate outfit, but i didn't know if i wanted to pay $30 for a costume i would wear once. i don't have any younger brothers and sisters, so no one would wear it ever again, unless i let someone borrow it. i ended up not getting it, but i remembered i had a black skirt that i never wore and that was very old that i could cut up and use as a skirt. well, yesterday, i looked in my closet, and couldn't find the skirt. i had forgotten that i had given it to my cousin. aaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnyyyyywwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy....today, my mom and i went to savers to try to find stuff for a costume. we were there for awhile. i finally found a skirt that i could cut up, and vest thing, and a shirt. then i got a scarf somewhere else that i will use as a bandana thing-a-ma-jigger. i still need to go to walmart (or now wal-mart) and get the net tights and black hair dye that can be washed out. oh. i also need to borrow my friend's boots. then my costume will be complete!! i'll post a pic of it sometime.....hopefully.

okay i got it.

wasn't today nice, how cool it was? i was very surprised that it never got hot. it brings back so many memories of fall. i feel like this is the first REAL day of fall. the year has gone by so slow. that didn't even make sense. oh well. it seems like the winter camp in february was AGES ago!!! like years. and years. and years. that's like the beginning of summer. except only years ago. not years. and years. and years. why do people think years go by fast???? it drags on and on and on for me.

today i did school. nathan is at a friend's house. im home. doing nothing. does my blog count as something?

in case you're wondering, it's on channel 56...it shows the same commercial a billion times. it only has like 5 =]! you're probably wondering why i watch channel 56. it has old shows on it. my favorite is hogan's heroes.

btw, i haven't watched channel 56 recently, i was just sitting down in our school room thinking (about nothing in particular...on second thought, was i even thinking about anything?!), and i remembered the commercial that i almost have memorized. i didn't try to memorize it..i just did. lol.

i watched the premier of amazing race last night. amazing show if you haven't seen it. there are these people who go on a race around the world. on channel 2. sunday. 8 o'clock. watch it.

i can't wait for american idol to start in january.

what did i do today.....school...

i won my volleyball game on sunday.

oh! story: right after second service at church, i had to leave for my volleyball game, so i had brought my backpack with my clothes to change into. i had to change at church. some people looked at me weird for carrying a backpack and being in a volleyball outfit. oh well. when i got back after my volleyball game (i had something at church right after third service), it was really weird going to church when people were leaving church. so yeah.

i just realized that im a real blonde. i just wrote about my volleyball game in my post before. oh well. i'll survive. im too lazy to delete what i just wrote.

my brother's soccer practice ends in ten minutes. woop woop.

oh!! another story: so, gavin taught nathan how to shoot someone with a rubberband in this really cool way that you still have the rubberband in your hand once you've shot the person, and nathan's been shooting me now. i just figured out today how to do it, because nathan wouldn't tell me. hahaha. it's kinda cool. shooting the rubberband. not being shot.

another story: nathan came up to me and punched me in the shoulder today. hard. i said ow!! and asked him why he did that, and he said that was payback for hitting him with the rubberband. before i go on, i have a question for you. does it make any sense to you if i shoot a rubberband at my brother once, and he's shot it at me like 10 times, that he should get even by punching me? shouldn't a punch equal like 20 shootings of the rubberband? that's just my theory. you can have your own. back to the story. he kept punching me kind of hard in the back for a little. i told him to stop, and he stopped. my shoulder still hurt. i told him that and he said that gavin will randomly punch him in the shoulder, and he had to demonstrate it on me. ow...my shoulder hurt more.

tomorrow i have volleyball practice! and school. and idk what else.

oh! btw...this is my 99th post! yeah! 100th tomorrow. or whenever i post.

wow. i've spent ten minutes on this post. what's wrong with me? i should be doing something else.

my life...the good the sad and the funny.

so i feel stupid right now because i just looked at the last post i did and can't remember what it was about.



oh!! i remember!! yay!

okay, so the good about this week was i got to go to soccer, volleyball, and the beach (so much fun!!). i went with my homeschool group. emily and emily were there! oh yeah. friday school started. i won my volleyball game today! yay! it was weird because i had to take my backpack to church filled with my volleyball stuff, and right after jr high, i had to change into my uniform and leave. when i went back to church (because i had this early childhood thing and right after bible study), people were leaving when i got there. it was weird. oh also, i got to play against someone on my soccer team (for volleyball)!! we didn't know we played in the same league until yesterday. lol. it was fun! my team won two of the three matches. =)

the sad: i lost my soccer game against emily taylor =(   that's the second time i've played her and my team has lost both games.

aaaaaaannnnnddd the funny. when my soccer team came up with a team name a couple weeks ago, we each contributed a word to the name! here's the team name: The Random Greeks Who Knit and Eat Kumquats While Doing the Macarana and Drowning Fish. amazing, huh? for short, it's either the random greeks or the kumquats.

so yeah! that was the good the sad and the funny of my week!!

the story behind the name!

okay, so i called my blog starbucks luvr, first because i love starbucks and it's amazing, but second because my family has a tradition that on the first day of fall every year, we go to starbucks and get the pumpkin spice latte. it happened to be hot yesterday, so i got it a frappiccino cream based version of it, and it was AMAZING!!!! the coffee version is really good, but the cream based version is even better!!! i usually like the coffee version better.

anyway...what's your favorite drink at starbucks?

my weirdness

okay, so i took the trash out just now, and i was swinging the trashbag, and like the corner of it or something scraped against the back of my leg, and it stung a little, but i just ignored it. when i was done taking the trash out, i looked at it and i realized that i was bleeding. i decided to write a post about it, so when i got upstairs i looked at it again, and there was a lot of blood, and it was starting to run down my leg a little. weird, right? and it was just a little cut. so i wiped it off, and wrote a post about it.

Six Flags!!!

six flags was so much fun!!! it was super busy though. i went on saturday with my junior high group at church. we only went on four rides the whole day, and one ride was this wet ride that you bearly got wet on. the shortest line was an hour and a half!! besides the water ride we went on tatsu (amazing, it was my first time on it), deja vu (it was amazing too. i don't scream on roller coasters, but i screamed on that one), and goliath (i'd gone on it before...i love it!). so, tatsu is kind of like silver bullet at knott's but your body is facing the ground instead of straight ahead. deja vu is like bomerang at knott's but bigger and better, with more loops and corkscrews. goliath isn't like anything at knott's. so, you're sitting in your seat, and it pulls you up for ages, and then you go straight down, and you go under ground, and do a lot of turns. you don't go upside down on that one, but it was fun. on goliath i sat with marsella, on deja vu i sat with taylor, on that stupid water ride i sat with jennalee, and on tatsu i sat by nathan and gavin. okay...these are the people that went (let's see if i can remember): me, taylor, marsella, jennalee (bus buddy!), elsa, stephanie, michelle, linnea, rachel, summer ( i hope i remembered all the girls), nathan, gavin, nick, brian, and greg. i hope i remembered everyone. if i didn't please comment, and tell me who i missed!

blanking out with STARs.

i was gonna write something about what i did yesterday, but i just blanked out, and can't remember anything. im serious. nothing. wow. this is weird.
i'll write about today then.
i went to STAR for the first time today. i am taking a first period (starts at 8:20, i wake up at 7) composition class. my teacher is pretty nice. last week we had to write a paragraph about ourselves, and this week we have grammar homework (extremely easy, it's just nouns) and we have to do this thing where in every sentence of this three paragraph essay, we have to write down three words about the sentence. it's teaching us not to plajerize. that's all the homework we have this week. barely any.
it was weird when i got up this morning not hearing the gardener mow the lawns or blow the leaves or whatever he does. it was quiet. and peaceful. and a nice time to go back to sleep.

when i was in colorado, i was typing on my friend's antique typewriter. above the one :'( it didn't have an exclamation point!!! it was so sad!! so when i was typing, i used * (i think it's called an asterisk or something) in place of an exclamation point. i used * like 10 times in like five sentences... wow. i know.. i obsessed with !! (i got too tired of typing the name out).

i just used 23 exclamation points... wow.. i'll try not to use as many! (24) =)

wow...

it was just a week ago that i did my last post, but it seems like it was ages ago!! so...i went to the beach tuesday, and the water was SO warm!!! I actually body surfed which i never do. after the beach we got cinnamon rolls at this place... they were so good!!! on wednesday, we went to jr high, and played capture the flag that we've played no less than a billion times. it's now kind of boring. i had fun being with my friends though. on thursday, i got a haircut. she cut it a little short, but oh well...it'll grow back...right? RIGHT? i also had cello and soccer. and friday, i had an orientation for STAR at biola. i am taking a composition class. my teacher is named miss rountree. (interesting last name if you ask me!) i hope i'll like her! i saturday, i was sick. sunday, i was better, so i went to church. bible study started later that day... it was fun!! nathan had a friend over...oh!! and we went to mr. provo's going away party. i was looking forward to having him as my high school pastor!! oh well... he's gonna move to colorado. i love colorado!! he's moving near where i used to live!!! after that, my family went on a bike ride. we went up to the quad (we're like a mile away), and then back home. i now know how to get there!! (im pretty terrible at directions...). and today i did school. not extremely exciting, but kind of fun!! what will i do this week?? will it be fun or boring??? idk....i guess i'll find out soon! <3

i remembered!!

oooooooh!!! im so smart!!! i just remembered what i was going to say!! i went over to emily t.'s house today with emily p.!!! we had a lot of fun!! we walked down to joghurt which is amazing if you haven't been there. you get to choose how much ice cream you want and what kind, and you put it in this container, and then you choose what toppings you want!! it's all self-serve!! the emilys (do you change the y to an ie at the end if it's plural?) and i put on tie-dye shirts, funky sunglasses and did our makeup all weird, and walked to joghurt that way. the lady there asked us if we were doing something special. we told her no, and that we were just hanging out. when we went back to her house, we made these really random videos. emily t. is going to post one on her facebook. right after my parents picked me up, we went swimming at this person's house and maddie was there! i had a fun time!!

guess what? tomorrow im going to the beach though it's supposed to be my first day of school!! yippee!!

okay, so today i got up early (7) to go with my brother to church 'cause i was gonna edit the words to the songs in the junior high room, because there are mistakes. BUT IT WASN'T WORKING!!! how sad....i got up early for nothing.

well, actually it was kinda fun getting there before everyone else (except a few people), and seeing my friends come in. i wasn't the last one (or almost the last one) there!!!

so, i was at the beach last month (maybe it was in july..idk), and i was going to tell me friend emily about something someone told me.

and as i was going to tell her, all these names of people i knew were rushing through my mind like in those lottery things where it spins.

it was so weird!! it took me like 20 seconds to figure out her name and the name of the person i was going to tell her about.

the weirdest thing about it though is my friend has the same name as me, so i forgot my own name!!

i think im the only girl who drums on herself. i love to drum on myself and drum on things!! it's so much fun!! i love to hear the different sounds. like when i drum on myself, i like the difference between how my stomach sounds when i drum on it, and my legs. it sounds cool!! and when im in random places i'll just drum on different stuff i see. there are so many different sounds out there!! does anyone else that reads my blog drum on themselves?? you should try it; it's fun!!

splash into a sunburn and boredom

so at splash yesterday (technically buccaneer bay), my friends and i went on the lazy river like a billion times!!! they didn't want to go on any of the slides, so i went once by myself. i was there for like five hours. it was pretty fun. we also went to this pool that's part of splash and not buccaneer bay, and did handstands and flips in it and just talked. my brother hung out with us whenever he couldn't find his friends. my face and shoulders got burnt but it didn't hurt that much.

one time i got burnt really bad at the grand canyon.

i forgot to put sunscreen on my back.

so my back was bright red, but it didn't hurt!!

my skin felt a little tight, but that's all.

and she was amazed.

im not sure she believed me..

but every time i get a really bad sunburn, the same thing happens!!

Part Two of my Trip

The first real day in Santa Cruz, we went to...

except not fashion street whatever that is.

When we first got to San Francisco and found parking, we got out our bikes to start to ride the Golden Gate bridge. The wind was so strong!! We were going against it the whole way to and over the bridge. At one point this jogger passed us on the way to the bridge. We later found out that a triathlon was coming up, and that the wind was extra strong that day.

you can kind of see how strong the wind is by looking at my brother's hair. by the way, we have crossed the bridge now. On one part of the bridge, I had to get off my bike because the wind was too strong!


After I had taken my pictures, we headed back across the bridge. Biking back to our car was way quicker.


Thus concludes my San Francisco trip.

I just watched the third Lord of the Rings extended version last night!!! I loved it!! I now want to read the books to see what they changed in the movies, and then watch the movies again. If you haven't seen the trilogy, you should!

my trip

Over a month ago I had a big vacation. I meant to post what happened like a week after it happened, but I wasn't able too. Anyway, I will be posting what happened.

After a slight delay in leaving (5 hours), we left to go to...

Oh! Before we left, my dad's administrative assistant and his wife gave us...





They filled this big bag with snacks which were greatly enjoyed along the trip :-)!
When we got to Santa Cruz, we stayed at this hostel. A hostel is this place that's like a motel-except nicer and cheaper-but you stay in this house with other people. The family hostel that we stayed in the first night we had a separate room, and the second night my mom and I were in a girls' hostel, and my dad and brother in the boy's hostel. This kitty was so sweet!! It can right up to us and started to rub up against us.



Unfortunately, this bird started dive bombing the cat. We don't know why. There might have been babies near by.

Independant Little Creatures...

Between the wall of our house and another house, a mother cat had four kittens. Three white, and one black and white. We first noticed them about a month ago. Yesterday, or the day before, they struck out on their own. The mother cat was meowing last night. She sounded like she was crying. When we first saw the kittens, they were small and sort of uncoordinated. I named them all: Milky Way, Patch, Snowball, and Checkers. At first, my family liked Checkers, but we soon switched to Patch. Patch was the most adventurous and brave. When all the kittens ran away when I went out to give them food, little Patch would stay and watch me until I was like three feet away. A couple days ago, I was laying on the cement, while Patch was watching, and Patch took a few steps nearer.

It has been fun seeing the kittens, and watching them grow. They played so much around our plants. It reminded me of when I first got my kitten. We were going to rescue them, but never got the opportunity.

Last year, the mother cat had a batch of kittens. We couldn't catch them either. It was still cute to watch them. I hope the mother cat-Snow White- has more kittens next year, and I hope she raises them in the same spot.

Goodbye kittens! Welcome to the world.

The Gold Rush!

Yesterday, I went to Riley's Farm, and did a gold rush "adventure". If you haven't ever been to Riley's Farm, you should go... it's cool. I went with my friday school group. When we got there, it was like 45 or 50 degrees!!! COLD!!!!!! I was glad I brought a jacket :-) (thanks mom!) When the thing finally started, they told us some facts about the gold rush, and stuff about that time period. Then, they took us to this place where you could pan for gold. They told us how to use everything, and then told us that there was a store type place where you could exchange your gold for money, and also a place where you could get work. Then they said "go," and you could then go to whatever spot you wanted to for gold. My friend and I teamed up, and we first went to a spot where you could stake your clame, but you had to buy one! We didn't have any gold, so we couldn't get in. I forget how we first got some gold, but we did, and then we went to a place where you panned for gold while water was rushing in this aquaduct thing (don't ask me what the name was!). So, to get a pan, you needed to give the person gold. I asked how much, and the guy said all the gold I had, and I declined. My mom told me to go away, and then go back in a little bit, and say I lost my gold, and offer him one piece, and say I would do a day's work of laundry for the pan. I did it, and I got a pan. My friend Emily got one too. When we had a decent amount of gold, we went to the store type place to exchange it for cash. It had started at $20 an ounce, and by the time we were there, it was at $10 an ounce. We watched as it dropped to $10, to $8, to $6. We thought it was going to drop to $4, but it didn't. I think we had 2 ounces at that point. It was good though how they did the supply and demand thing. If there was a lot of gold, it wasn't worth much. If there wasn't, then the price was higher. At one point, the price an ounce was 50 cents! Emily and I went to every place that there was to get gold. We combined our money with my brother, and his friend. We got more gold for $1 an ounce, and then, right before it closed when it was still $1 an ounce, it went up to 3, and then, it went up to $6, and we were the last people. It was a very fun experience! After that, we went to this one room, and they showed us what kids of instruments the miners played. After, we went to the general store, and bought stuff. I bought a rabbit pelt (so soft!!), and some candy. Oh! They have the BEST apple pies there!!!! They are 5 pounds!!! Oh... by the way, the "gold" pieces were just gold spray painted rocks.

dewey!!!!

okay... yesterday i finished dewey, and i loved it!!!! i cried at the end though! so sad!! just a heads up, there is one bad word in it. reading it, i switched it in my head so i didn't say it. even for non animal lovers, i think they will like it. my grandma liked it, and she isn't an animal lover! i would read this book again!!!! it is a very sweet story. you should read it!!!!

book review

okay... i know it's terrible that i haven't written in almost a month!! i did try to post something, but it didn't work... i will try again soon. anyway.... i have decided to do a book review. i was going to do it on another book, but i can't find it right now, so i have resorted to a book called Dewey. it is about a cat, who is found in a library return slot.... you know what? i will just type out what it says on the cover... i can't explain it very well. okay... take two!
how much of an impact can a cat have? how many lives can one cat touch? how is it possible for an abandoned kitten to transform a small library, save a classic american town, and eventually become famous aroun the world? you can't even begin to answer those questions until you hear the charming story of Dewey Readmore Books, the beloved library cat of spencer, iowa.

AVALANCHE!!!

I thought I might as well tell about my trip with my junior high to Big Bear. It was called Avalanche. When we were going up to Big Bear, we had to put chains on. That took awhile considering Southern California people do not put chains on a lot, and there were issues!! Then, when we got them on, we realized that the trailer we had put all of our suitcases in, had to have chains too! We didn't have enough chains, so the person driving the trailer in the truck had to wait with another car that was part of our group. When we got up there, my junior high leader had to go back down the mountain, and they didn't arrive until hours later. Saturday, (We arrived Friday) we went snowboarding or skiing. I have skied before, but wanted to try snowboarding because my best friend who lives in Colorado loves to snowboard, I though that I would try. I fell a lot, but had fun. We also had a snowball fight, which was TONS of fun!!! It snowed everyday we were there!! The next day, we had a ghetto contest where on this certain street, we had to find the ghetto-est object $10 or under. It was boys against girls. We went into a couple shops, and the first one we went into, I found a postcard for my collection. It had copper coating on it, and showed someone skiing. They didn't have one showing someone snowboarding. :-( Anyway, in this one store, one of my junior high leaders found this "baby gift" that was VERY ghetto. It had fake flowers in this porcelain cradle (that looked ugly) with an ugly baby lamb on top. The old lady who was wrapping it asked if it was a baby gift, and my junior high leader, not wanting to hurt her feeling said "yes". The lady was wrapping it so carefully!! Someone in my group found a belly button brush, and we got that too. Everything equalled $10. We then went to Starbucks. I got a Cafe Mocha. So good!! Then we went back to meet the boys. There ghetto item was just scary!!! It was this old man in his underwear weightlifting. The girls won. Then we went to the candy store. I got fun colored M&Ms, and this flavored honey! It was good!! When we were almost to In-N'-Out (where we were going to eat), I spilled my mocha on my pants! Luckily, I was wearing jeans, and it spilled mostly on the back of my pants. My dad told me that if I have time today, I needed to write a post on my blog. I have time, so I am writing. I have decided to tell you about all the errors on my other posts. Here they are: I Do Solemnly Swear..... I did not use the right that worked in the sentence. I spelled "allowed" "aloud". Please Get Cold! I spelled "without" "with out". I guess I can spell it both ways, but I like "without". Happy Birthday!!! On purpose, I wrote "cuz" instead of "because". Don't ask me why. Happy New Year....Though a Little Late The sentence says, "I have not seen her since end of June '07". I meant to say, I have not seen her since the end of June '07. Also, "We did history on the way up, and some for tomorrow on the way back". What I meant was, "We did History on the way up, and some for tomorrow on the way back". True Story of Rudolph I didn't make this error, the person who wrote the story did, but I will tell anyway. This is what it says, "Wards went on to print, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and distribute it to children visiting Santa in their stores." It should say, "Wards went on to print Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and distribute it to children visiting Santa in their stores." (no comma) Here's another... "By 1946 Wards had printed and distributed more than six million copies of Rudolph." It should go like this: "By 1946, Wards had printed and distributed more than six million copies of Rudolph." (there's a comma) Nathan...tsk tsk tsk Here's what it says: "The first time he put posts about all of his trophies, and then didn't use his blog for AGES!!" It should say:"The first time, he put posts about all of his trophies, and then didn't use his blog for AGES!!" My Thanksgiving It says, "Anyway, when we got there, Nathan and I went down stairs, and played a game of chess." It should say, "Anyway, when we got there, Nathan and I went downstairs, and played a game of chess." (no space between "down" and "stairs". It could be both ways, though.) Another one: "She said yes, so we got on our swimsuits, and after being in the a little bit, Nathan got this CRAZY idea that he wanted to go jump in the pool that hadn't been heated!" I meant to say, "She said "yes", so we got on our swimsuits, and after being in the hot tub a little bit, Nathan got this CRAZY idea that he wanted to go jump in the pool that hadn't been heated!" And another: "After he jumped in once, I said I mean' he had to do it a total of three times." This is what I meant to say: "After he jumped in once, I said I meant he had to do it a total of three times." It has been AGES since I've written!.....well, not ages......but a LONG time!! Today, I watched Barack Obama's inauguration. At 12:05 (east coast time.....9:05 here), Barack Obama became America's first African American president. The newscasters were saying that just 60 years ago, a black person wasn't aloud to be in the same part of a restaurant as white people, drink from the same drinking fountain as white people, or even use the same toilets! I think it is amazing that 60 years later, a black man became president! I do envy his daughters though....I would LOVE to live in the White House!!! I read somewhere that they have their own movie theatre, own popcorn tray, and many more things! Wouldn't that be cool to have a birthday party at the White House? Imagine playing "Hide and Seek"!! But, then again, I wouldn't want my dad to be the president because he would be away and working a lot, and secret service people would follow me everywhere!!! I wouldn't want them to follow me if I went to a sleepover either!! And then, after my dad finished being president, secret service men (or women) would follow me until I died!! Well, I am glad though that I was watching the inauguration on t.v. instead of being there!! It would be SO cold!! And so many people!!!! Nathan thought watching the inauguration was boring, but I liked it. It was really the first one that I actually watched. In 2001, I was only 5 years old, and five year olds don't watch inaugurations!! I don't know what else to say, so...goodbye!!!!
