spookiness...not really.

i had wanted to be a pirate for halloween, so like last week, emily p, my mom, grandma, brother and i (we had just come back from a field trip and i took emily to a pumpkin patch after) went to party city because emily and i needed costumes. emily got this amazing bee outfit. she said i could wear it next year =]!  i found a pirate outfit, but i didn't know if i wanted to pay $30 for a costume i would wear once. i don't have any younger brothers and sisters, so no one would wear it ever again, unless i let someone borrow it. i ended up not getting it, but i remembered i had a black skirt that i never wore and that was very old that i could cut up and use as a skirt. well, yesterday, i looked in my closet, and couldn't find the skirt. i had forgotten that i had given it to my cousin. aaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnyyyyywwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy....today, my mom and i went to savers to try to find stuff for a costume. we were there for awhile. i finally found a skirt that i could cut up, and vest thing, and a shirt. then i got a scarf somewhere else that i will use as a bandana thing-a-ma-jigger. i still need to go to walmart (or now wal-mart) and get the net tights and black hair dye that can be washed out. oh. i also need to borrow my friend's boots. then my costume will be complete!! i'll post a pic of it sometime.....hopefully.
