The first real day in Santa Cruz, we went to...
except not fashion street whatever that is.
When we first got to San Francisco and found parking, we got out our bikes to start to ride the Golden Gate bridge. The wind was so strong!! We were going against it the whole way to and over the bridge. At one point this jogger passed us on the way to the bridge. We later found out that a triathlon was coming up, and that the wind was extra strong that day.
Anyway....here are some pictures biking to the bridge...
this is Alcatraz from a distance
this is the Golden Gate bridge
I don't like this picture of me, but I put it on anyway.
The bridge is getting closer...
even closer....
me and nathan
mom and dad
my family
we are now on the bridge overlooking the water.
I don't like this picture of me either. I like the view!
Same with this picture.
you can kind of see how strong the wind is by looking at my brother's hair. by the way, we have crossed the bridge now. On one part of the bridge, I had to get off my bike because the wind was too strong!
After I had taken my pictures, we headed back across the bridge. Biking back to our car was way quicker.
Thus concludes my San Francisco trip.
