well, my life hasnt been terribly exciting this summer...

3. it's COLD!!!!

~we have three chinese boys living in our house...ive learned some chinese!!
~deep ends have been fun!
rock n water's coming up soon! yay..
~great time full of rock climbing, white water rafting and the other thing (i forget the name)
SOAK CITY ON MONDAY!! AND JR HIGH/HS BEACH DAY FRIDAY!!!

the movies
what happens when two people go to see a PG movie that is about falling in love? well, many things can happen.
1. they don't like it.
2. they think it's amazing.
3. they weird things start to happen.
if you guessed 3, you're right.
naomi and i went to see letters to juliet today. after we were dropped off, we got our popcorn and soda and headed in to watch the movie. when we walked down the aisle they always have at movie theatres, we were greeted by a site that made us wonder if we were in the right place. expecting to see younger people, we were surprised to find 7 old people there. no young people. just us. i think heads turned and watched us. we sat down a couple rows below the "elderly adults." thankfully, some younger people came later. i'll just call them "homeschoolers." some middle age women and a mom and daughter came completing the crowd.
after drinking a medium (more like huge) soda, large popcorn, and watching a movie, we needed to go to the bathroom. i held our drinks and popcorn while naomi proceded to the the women's room. she came out about 30 seconds later laughing histerically. she wouldn't tell me what happened, so i let it go. after i went, we sat outside on the steps waiting for my mom to pick me up. she told me that she saw a stall with the door open and went in. when she was about to close the door, she she realized a 5 year old girl was in there. not needing to go anymore, she raced out. after we laughed for like 5 minutes, my mom picked us up. fun end to a fun day? i have to say yes. although my day's not done. tonight i'm seeing CATS (the musical) with my mom.
how will that be?

questions
wow i never realized how messy poptarts are...or how much gets in your braces!
ok seriously, dont u HATE when you forget stuff? like take now for instance; i was going to write something, but then my stupid brain had to forget it. why, brain, do u have to be so cruel?
wow. i seriously can not remember. anything.
well, i guess i'll have to entertain u another way. since nothing terribly exciting has happened in my life, i guess i'll use my imagination.
yes!!! never mind!! i REMEMBERED!!! gosh i love my brain.
so i have decided that im going to redecorate/paint my room. you might have known heard that via fb. aaaanyyway, the color is going to be sea life (weird name, right?) it's a light turquoise and i like it. see, my only problem is that i'm not sure how i want to redecorate it. yes, less clutter, more shelves, new bookcase, but im not an interior decorator! i dont know if it would look better if i rearranged my furniture or not. should i paint words on the wall? if so, what words? so many questions! i wish there was a website that allowed u to take a picture of your room, upload it, and then paint it, rearrange it, and add stuff to it. seriously, how cool would that be?! but i havent found a website like that. yet. im still hoping. if anyone has any ideas, they would be greatly appreciated. heck, one of you should help me plan it! aw well. when ive figured out what i want, and how it'll be, i'll tell you. also, i'll post before and after pics.

jinxed
ever since like 9:30 today. not even kidding. it started on the paper route, but that's another story.
so when i got home, i went upstairs to read for like an hour. i realized i had to write an essay because i didnt do it thursday....or friday....and i have 2 due this week instead of 1. grrr..
i got ready to start. paper? check. pencil? check. syllabus? check. bangs up so it doesnt bother me? double check.
so anyway, i sat down to write it. it's a letter. to alexander bell graham. graham bell. excuse me. so as i was thinking about what to write, i figured i should write down my topics. i wasnt focusing so i started highlighting certain things just to make it look nicer and all. after that i realized i have no idea why he's so amazing. ya he invented the telephone...but cmon. how has it impacted the world? i sat for like 5 minutes then realized why i was having a problem. because for like most of the year, we've been rewriting what other people have written and now i had to figure it out. by myself. along. *sigh*. so i got it work.
i couldnt think of anything. a candle was right in front of me so i started tapping it. haha. it made a funny noise. i stopped like after a minute. i started to work. the vacuum was turned on. well there goes my focus. then i hear something being sucked into the vacuum. well there goes my bookmark. (are you getting the title yet?) after about 10 minutes, i finished outlining the first paragraph. i thought i'd rather write about a clock. what would we do without them? what time is it right now? i resisted the urge to look. *a minute later.* (i was staring at the candle.) it'd be cool to have a photographic memory. i wish i had one. i write III. oooooo!! it looks like a roman column...haha. *back to work. mom comes down.* "is it your turn to empty the dishwasher?" i hop up glad for an excuse. i told my mom i felt ADHD cuz i couldnt focus. she said to eat something. i emptied the dishwasher then went to the fridge. peaches apple sauce yogurt *glanced at pantry* peanut butter... *back at fridge* peaches apple sauce....apple sauce. i took it out and poured it. it looked weird. expiration date: 3/3/10 dang, that's already passed. oh well, i'll add blueberries to make it taste better. i sit back down at the table. it doesnt taste any better but im too lazy to get more. and to throw the old stuff away. so i finally got to paragraph 3, outlining the 2nd sentence. (it's this kind of outlining where u Key Word Outline [kwo] every sentence...grr..) my cat hopped on my lap. i pet her. what if God made cats bald? i shuddered. *one sentence later* who are those people talking outside? they're bothering me. stop talking people! are they visiting our neighbors? be quiet! i look outside. oh. it's my mom..and a neighbor talking. oops. i finally make it to paragraph 4. im cold... im gonna close the window. im about to get up to close it. my cat jumps up. grr... i go back to work. 2 seconds later, she gets down. thanks for breaking my fragile concentration, cat! i get up and close the window. *paragraph 5.* yay. last 1. ugh. i'd rather be reading. i thought of those bumper stickers that say, "id rather be _____" haha. "id rather be studying." only a nerd would say that.
i finally finished. then i ran upstairs cuz i could write down a post that id been thinking about all through kwoing. it took me like 10 min to write this...it took me 45 to write a full notebook page of incomplete sentences.
pathetic.
im gonna finish my essay later......hopefully. let us pray this stupid jinx has stopped.. dang! i bet i jinxed it.
