New book!

I just finished Blink of an Eye by Ted Dekker. It was amazing!

Here's what the back of the book said...

The future changes in the Blink of An Eye... or does it?
Miriam is a Saudi princess promised to another, a pawn in a political struggle that could shift the balance of power in the Middle East.
Seth is a certified genius with a head full of numbers, a life full of baggage, and an attitude born on the waves of the Pacific.
Cultures collide when they find themselves thrown together as fugitives in a high-stakes chase across Southern California. A growing attraction and a search for answers fuel their fight to survive... but with no sleep and a massive manhunt steadily closing in, their chances of surviving any future are razor thin.

Independant Little Creatures...

Between the wall of our house and another house, a mother cat had four kittens. Three white, and one black and white. We first noticed them about a month ago. Yesterday, or the day before, they struck out on their own. The mother cat was meowing last night. She sounded like she was crying. When we first saw the kittens, they were small and sort of uncoordinated. I named them all: Milky Way, Patch, Snowball, and Checkers. At first, my family liked Checkers, but we soon switched to Patch. Patch was the most adventurous and brave. When all the kittens ran away when I went out to give them food, little Patch would stay and watch me until I was like three feet away. A couple days ago, I was laying on the cement, while Patch was watching, and Patch took a few steps nearer.

It has been fun seeing the kittens, and watching them grow. They played so much around our plants. It reminded me of when I first got my kitten. We were going to rescue them, but never got the opportunity.

Last year, the mother cat had a batch of kittens. We couldn't catch them either. It was still cute to watch them. I hope the mother cat-Snow White- has more kittens next year, and I hope she raises them in the same spot.

Goodbye kittens! Welcome to the world.
